A Little Taste Of Itally

The moment You’ve all been waiting for has officially arrived πŸ™Œ So throw your hands up in the air like you just don’t…πŸ€” wait? This isn’t a song.

Mondo Italiano is back at it once again!!!

This past month, Mondo shut it’s doors with a heartwrenching end of an era as they began moving into the new and improved building, they’d been working on for months. I don’t know about you, but I just about died missing my favorite food joint. Even though they were only down for a month, those 4-6 weeks proved just how well missed this establishment was.

Lo and behold, our community patiently waited for its grand re-opening in the new hottest spot in town.

High school students get your froyo or gelato on. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘Œ With Mondos new location, it’s potential for being quite the new hot spot is grand.

It seems Mondo has welcomed new people to their friendly and hardworking staff.

Considering they’ve only been open for less than a week, they seem to be piecing everything together nicely.

My family and I were able to enjoy a peaceful dinner, with exceptional service. I mean…. Are you ever surprised with them tho? The owners have a keen sense of great customer service, and courtesy.

The restaurant has quite the fancy decor, which brings a little feel of Italy right to our beloved town of Taos, NM.

What I like the most about Mondo, Is how well rounded the atmosphere is. Whether your there for a business meeting, a date night, or stopping by immediately after a hard day’s work, your welcome.

It’s that “All walks of life mentality that makes Mondo Italiano special.”

As usual, we started off with the wings, which always reminds me of those old school bar wings. The only thing I can truly say about those wings is…. “Bruh! πŸ˜‹πŸ‘Œ da bomb dot com.”

You can NEVER go wrong with their chicken strips from the appetizer menu, or any salad on the menu. They are simply delish! The kids shared a spaghetti dinner, and I ordered the linguini alla vongoli. It is THEE ultimate taste of brilliance. Personally, I prefer mine with the red sauce, but traditionally it comes with white wine sauce that is superb.

What really adds the cherry on the cake is the conjoined frozen yogurt section. Not only can you sit down for a lovely meal with your family, but your desert options are to die for. Whether your ordering tiera misu off the menu, or grabbing frozen yogurt, or gelato. Your in good hands.

If you’ve never had a taste of Mondo Italiano, your most definitely missing out. If you haven’t, you better get in their and get your Mondo craving fulfilled.

Being one my favorite restaurants in town, I give the establishment a high rating in many areas. The food is consistent, and so are the vibes.

Happy Eating 😌

Just… Notice.Β

I think the hardest part about the last 7 years of my life has been recreating the novel I wrote when I was 16. πŸ˜‘ I’m grateful my mother believed in me, and saved all my journals even though I gave up. Only, the universe had a different plan.

Watching my story burn in the flames as my father’s house burnt down made my journey as a writer just a little harder. πŸ˜‘ Even though my story still deserves to come to life, it should have been real then. recapturing it now is difficult. πŸ˜‘ I’m not that girl anymore.

The story isn’t about my life. It’s a fully made up with a whole new experience (fiction/fantasy)  yet… I’m not quite the day dreamer anymore πŸ€”

Well at least I have 60,000 words worth of it.
